Following his recent victory over Regis Prograis, Benn signed a multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing and is now the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight title. Benn believes he has numerous options and is not limited to just the Garcia fight, saying, 'Of course, it is the priority to get that Garcia fight done, but I am not short of options.' He also mentioned that many fighters are calling him out, and if Garcia doesn't want the fight, there are plenty of other opportunities available.
Benn has been amused by the reaction to his win over Prograis, with many fighters now eager to face him after previously showing no interest. He attributes this to his impressive performance at 150lbs and his ability to go the distance with a two-time world champion.
