Hull KR Dominates Toulouse with Eight Tries, While Leigh Secures Crucial Win Over York
Hull KR delivered a resounding performance, scoring eight tries to secure a convincing 46-0 victory over Toulouse in the Betfred Super League, marking their third consecutive win. The visitors started strong, with Elliot Minchella opening the scoring, and despite having another try disallowed, Rhyse Martin extended the lead to 12-0 after Toulouse failed to handle a high kick from Mikey Lewis. Hull KR continued to dominate, doubling their score with tries on either side of halftime, courtesy of Tyrone May and Joe Burgess. The team showed no mercy, with further tries from Jez Litten, Peta Hiku, Jai Whitbread, and Burgess's second, condemning Toulouse to their sixth straight defeat. In another match, Leigh bounced back with a hard-fought 18-6 win over York, thanks to tries from Gareth O'Brien, Xavier Va'a, Josh Charnley, and Jacob Alick-Wiencke, helping the team climb to 10th place in the table.
