Red Bull Revamps Technical Team in Pursuit of Enhanced Performance

In a strategic move to bolster its technical capabilities, Red Bull has unveiled a series of key changes within its technical department, aimed at intensifying its focus on innovation and performance. Ben Waterhouse, a veteran team member since 2017 and formerly the head of performance engineering, has been appointed to the expanded role of chief performance and design engineer, reporting directly to Technical Director Pierre Wache. This new position will oversee both design and vehicle performance, thereby enhancing the integration of these critical areas and expediting the development of cutting-edge, high-performance solutions. Additionally, Andrea Landi, previously the deputy technical director at Racing Bulls and having also served as deputy head of vehicle performance at Ferrari, will join Red Bull on July 1 as the head of performance, reporting to Waterhouse.
