Benn Eyes Garcia Title Fight, But Other Big Names Are Eager for a Bout

Conor Benn has stated that a WBC title match against Ryan Garcia is his top priority, but he's also being pursued by other prominent fighters. Following his victory over Regis Prograis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Benn signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing. As the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight title, Benn believes he has numerous options. 'My priority is to secure the Garcia fight, but I have plenty of other opportunities,' Benn told Sky Sports. 'Many big-name fighters are now calling me out, which is amusing considering they were silent after my rematch win over Chris Eubank Jr.' Benn feels that his recent points victory over Prograis has made him a more attractive opponent. 'It's funny that after the fight, all these fighters started calling me out, begging for a fight,' Benn said. 'Maybe it's a blessing that I went the distance with Regis, as it's shown my capabilities.' Zuffa Boxing's head, Dana White, is open to making a 'fun' fight between Benn and Garcia, and the organization has also signed former WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith.
