Following his impressive ONE Championship debut, Britain's Ben Woolliss is scheduled to return to the ring on May 16, with the event being broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss will face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand.

This will be a significant challenge for Woolliss, as Petchfergus is a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion. Despite battling long-term health issues, Woolliss has shown his resilience and signed with ONE, making his debut just last month. In his first match, he took on former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing bout, which he won with a spectacular one-round stoppage.

The main event on May 16 will feature Chinese star Tang Kai defending his ONE featherweight MMA world title against Shamil "The Cobra" Gasanov, who boasts a near-flawless record and a well-rounded skillset.
