Atang: I Must Live Up to Moses Itauma's Achievements

As a highly touted heavyweight prospect, Leo Atang is under pressure to perform. 'I'm not trying to be the next Moses Itauma, I'm going to be myself,' Atang told Sky Sports. Atang believes that their bout will happen when the time is right, and for now, he is focused on building his name and reputation. 'There's no rush for either of us, we can wait and build our names, and when the time's right, it'll be a massive fight,' he said. Atang feels that he has faced more pressure due to Itauma's success, saying, 'I've almost got to do it in his shadow, I've got to live up to what he's done.' Despite this, he remains grounded and aware that he still has a lot to learn and achieve before he can start calling out big names. 'The world title's the goal for me, that's the plan,' Atang said. 'I know I'm on the right path at the moment, I know I'm at the right pace as well.'
