Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive wins, Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to Hexham for Monday's National Hunt racing. Jamesieconn, seeking a fourth consecutive victory, will participate in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase. This seven-year-old previously showed a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground, achieving a win at Carlisle, and has since been raised 5lbs to a mark of 100. Despite the added weight, Jamesieconn may still rise to the challenge with Danny McMenamin as his jockey. Streamsforth Lad, who has placed in various hurdle and chase events but is yet to claim a win, will also participate. Stuart Coltherd, with a recent profit of +298, will saddle Rightbackatyou, who previously finished behind Scottish King over the same course and distance. Nicky Richards will also send out Young Getaway for the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, attempting to continue his remarkable winning streak. That One, reopposing after a year, and other competitors like Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, will also be participating in the events. Grant Wood, with a history of success at Gosforth Park, and Wicket Keeper, seeking another win, will also be in the running. Paddy's Day and Albasheer will make their appearances, with the latter being ridden by Sky Sports Racing ambassador Hollie Doyle. Finally, Gardener will return for the Happy Retirement Maurice & Anne Barnes Handicap Hurdle at 4:30 pm.
