Baumgardner Sets Sights on Taylor, Serrano, and Mayer: 'I Want Them All'

Unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner is determined to take on the best in the sport, naming Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and Mikaela Mayer as her top targets. 'Those are all three great fights. Let's get them all,' Baumgardner stated, prioritizing these bouts over a potential fight with Britain's Caroline Dubois. Baumgardner believes Dubois is not yet ready for a fight of this caliber, saying, 'I am chasing the biggest fights. Dubois is not ready... I am aligned with the biggest fights possible, and that fight will happen when it happens.' First, Baumgardner must defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. Baumgardner is confident in her abilities, saying, 'One thing about Bo is that she's coming to fight... But I'm hungrier, and I'm meaner, and I'm just sharper.' Shin, however, is determined to ruin Baumgardner's plans, stating, 'Alycia was my goal. She has always been, but now it's time to take her belts for me... I have a great respect for Baumgardner. She has a great style of boxing. She's a strong fighter, but I believe I have more perseverance, and I will show you.' The fight between Baumgardner and Shin will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from 3am on Saturday morning.
