Manchester United Has Not Made a Decision on Rashford's Future

Manchester United's interim manager Michael Carrick has revealed that a decision regarding Marcus Rashford's future at the club has not been made yet. The 28-year-old forward is currently on loan at Barcelona, with a £26m option to buy clause. However, there are reports that Barcelona are hesitant to make the deal permanent at that price. When questioned about the possibility of Rashford returning to Manchester United, Carrick did not rule it out. 'There are decisions to be made in time on certain things. Marcus is in that situation,' Carrick stated. Rashford has had a successful spell at Barcelona, scoring 12 goals and assisting 13 in 43 appearances, but has recently come under scrutiny for his performance. Despite this, Manchester United is confident that they could receive a higher fee for Rashford elsewhere if Barcelona refuses the previously agreed terms. Carrick also mentioned that there have been conversations about strengthening the left-wing position, with RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande and Everton's Iliman Ndiaye being potential targets. However, Carrick emphasized that the timing of these conversations is crucial and that no concrete decisions have been made yet.
