Alycia Baumgardner successfully defended her unified junior lightweight titles with a unanimous decision victory over Bo Mi Re Shin, and she is now looking to face off against prominent opponents Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Baumgardner was the clear favourite going into the fight and demonstrated her confidence from the opening bell. Although Shin put up a determined effort, particularly in rounds six and seven, Baumgardner's superior skill and technique ultimately secured her the win with scores of 98-92, 98-92, and 99-91. Following the fight, Baumgardner expressed her comfort in the ring and her willingness to continue learning and growing as a fighter. She also made it clear that she is eager for a big fight, calling out Taylor and Serrano, while dismissing Caroline Dubois as a potential opponent.
