Kap Vert Secures Scottish National Gold for Hobbs and White

In a thrilling Coral Scottish Grand National, Kap Vert dominated the competition, crossing the finish line ahead of Git Maker and Kim Roque. Under the skilled guidance of Sean Houlihan, the six-year-old demonstrated impressive form, showcasing his strength and agility over fences. Despite being relatively inexperienced, Kap Vert's jumping technique withstood scrutiny, unlike Midlands National winner Isaac Des Obeaux, who struggled and eventually finished fourth. A significant error by Git Maker almost a mile from the finish line nearly led to a disastrous outcome, but the horse managed to recover, ultimately securing second place by a narrow margin, just ahead of the favored Kim Roque.
