Atang: I Must Live Up to Moses Itauma's Achievements

As a top heavyweight prospect, Leo Atang is under pressure to perform. Moses Itauma's swift ascent to world-level contender status at just 21 has set a high standard, but Atang is keen to carve his own path. "I'm not trying to be the next Moses Itauma, I'm going to be myself," Atang stated. "Everyone moves at different rates, and I'll plot my own course to the top of the heavyweight division." A potential future bout with Itauma is on the horizon, but Atang is focused on building his name and reputation first. "When the time's right, it'll be a massive fight," he said. Atang feels that he has faced additional pressure due to Itauma's pioneering achievements, but he is determined to forge his own path and eventually compete for a world title. "The world title is my goal, and I know I'm on the right path," Atang said. "I'm grounded enough to know I'm not yet ready to call out big names, but when the time comes, it will be exciting to participate in major fights in the heavyweight division."
