Benn Names Garcia as Top Priority, but Other Big-Name Fighters are Eager for a Bout
Conor Benn has stated that his primary focus is on securing a WBC title fight against Ryan Garcia, but he's also aware that several other prominent fighters are now eager to face him. Following his successful debut with Zuffa Boxing, where he defeated Regis Prograis, Benn has become the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight title. However, Benn believes he has multiple options and is not limited to just the Garcia fight. 'It's my priority to get the Garcia fight done, but I have many options,' Benn said. 'There are several big-name fighters calling me out, and if Ryan doesn't want the fight, there are plenty of other opportunities available.' Benn has signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing and is confident in his abilities, having avenged his only loss against Chris Eubank Jr. He also feels that his recent points victory over two-time world champion Prograis has caught the attention of other fighters, who are now eager to face him. Dana White, head of Zuffa Boxing, is open to making a fight between Benn and Garcia, stating that he wants to make the biggest and most exciting fights possible.
