Carrick: Mainoo Nears New Manchester United Deal

Carrick expressed his optimism about the deal, stating that it is 'getting closer' and the club is 'positive' about the negotiations. The signing of a new deal would mark a significant turnaround in Mainoo's fortunes at Old Trafford, where he was previously not in the plans of former head coach Ruben Amorim. Since Carrick took over, Mainoo has become an integral part of the team and has also been included in Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad.
