The Rhinos' victory marked their third consecutive win, while the Giants slipped to 11th place. Huddersfield had entered the match with momentum, having won against Wigan Warriors and York Knights following the departure of head coach Luke Robinson, with assistant coach Liam Finn taking temporary charge. However, Leeds proved too formidable, ending the Giants' winning streak.
