Following his sensational debut in the ONE Championship, Britain's Ben Woolliss is slated to return to the ring on May 16, with the event broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss will face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, which will be aired live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Saturday, May 16.

This bout, part of ONE Fight Night 43, pits Woolliss against a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion. Despite battling long-term health issues, Woolliss recently signed with ONE and made his promotional debut last month.

He accepted his first fight on short notice, just nine days prior, and took on former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing match. Lineker, known for his formidable punching power, was defeated by Woolliss in a spectacular one-round stoppage, courtesy of Woolliss's damaging low kicks. The main event on May 16 features Chinese star Tang Kai as he defends his ONE featherweight MMA world title for the second time against Shamil "The Cobra" Gasanov. Tang Kai has been unstoppable in his featherweight MMA career, while Gasanov boasts a near-flawless record, leveraging his stand-up skills, grappling prowess, and submission expertise to overwhelm opponents.

Having avenged his sole career loss, Gasanov is now poised to strike and may prove unbeatable.
