Hull KR Dominates Toulouse with Eight Tries, While Leigh Secures Crucial Win Over York
Hull KR secured their third consecutive win in the Betfred Super League, thrashing Toulouse 46-0 with an impressive eight tries. The visitors took an early lead with Elliot Minchella's try, and despite having another try disallowed, Rhyse Martin extended the lead to 12-0 after Toulouse failed to handle a high kick from Mikey Lewis. Hull KR continued to dominate, doubling their scoreline with tries from Tyrone May and Joe Burgess either side of half-time. The team showed no mercy, running in five more tries, including a stunning length-of-the-field effort from Peta Hiku and a second try for Burgess. Meanwhile, Leigh returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 18-6 victory over York. Adrian Lam's side had won only one of their last four matches but came out on top at the LNER Community Stadium, thanks to tries from Gareth O'Brien, Xavier Va'a, Josh Charnley, and Jacob Alick-Wiencke. The win helped Leigh climb to 10th in the table, while York suffered their fifth successive Super League defeat.
