Katie Taylor's Potential Final Fight: Jake Paul's MVP Offers Opponent for Croke Park Showdown
Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions is poised to provide the opponent for Katie Taylor's highly anticipated final career bout at Dublin's Croke Park. Having staged Taylor's last two epic contests against Amanda Serrano, MVP is well-positioned to offer the ideal opponent for Taylor's swansong, given its impressive roster in women's boxing. Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP, has suggested Caroline Dubois as a potential opponent for Taylor's 'last dance.' Alternatively, the winner of the upcoming WBA lightweight title fight between Holly Holm and Stephanie Han could also be a suitable match. Bidarian envisions a scenario where the winner of this fight could face Taylor in her final bout, deeming it 'very logical.' With Holm being a renowned UFC champion and Stephanie Han having a compelling story as a mother and full-time police officer, either opponent would bring an exciting dimension to the fight. Bidarian is keen to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing to stage the Croke Park event, emphasizing the importance of respecting Taylor's loyalty to her current representatives. Hearn has ruled out Taylor fighting on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, also mooted for Croke Park, and is instead focused on moving forward with Taylor's solo event.
