With the F1 schedule on hold in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his expanding GT3 schedule. He will be joining forces with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, the nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in the Red Bull-livered Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing, competing against a 37-strong GT3 field at 'The Green Hell' in the latest rounds of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. This marks the third and fourth time that the four-time F1 world champion Verstappen has competed in GT3 machinery in the NLS.
