At just 15 years old, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has already made history as the youngest player to score a century in the Indian Premier League, achieving this feat a mere nine days after his record-breaking debut at the age of 14 in 2025. Now, he continues to impress, fueling discussions about his potential debut on the international stage. Sooryavanshi's remarkable journey began with a 35-ball hundred in his debut IPL season, and he has since proven to be more than just a temporary sensation, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure with the Rajasthan Royals. With two 15-ball fifties against the Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, he is currently the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament, boasting 200 runs from five innings at an impressive strike rate of 263.15. Although a golden duck in a recent defeat to the Sunrisers Hyderabad served as a reminder of his mortality, Sooryavanshi's extraordinary ball-striking power, physical presence, and composure at the crease have left seasoned professionals in awe. "We just cannot believe how someone can hit like that. He is a great talent and we feel good that he is in our team," India and Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel said.
