Red Bull Revamps Technical Team in Pursuit of Enhanced Performance

Red Bull has unveiled a restructuring of its technical department, aiming to intensify its commitment to innovation and performance. As part of this overhaul, Ben Waterhouse, a key figure in the team since 2017, will assume an expanded role as chief performance and design engineer, reporting directly to Technical Director Pierre Wache. Waterhouse's new position will oversee both design and vehicle performance, facilitating a more cohesive integration between these areas and expediting the development of cutting-edge solutions. Additionally, Andrea Landi is set to join the team on July 1 as head of performance, transitioning from sister team Racing Bulls, where he currently serves as deputy technical director. Landi, who has previously worked with Ferrari as deputy head of vehicle performance, will be under Waterhouse's supervision. This strategic move is designed to bolster Red Bull's technical capabilities, underscoring the team's dedication to nurturing internal talent while attracting top-tier expertise from across the motorsport landscape.
