Sinner Achieves 20th Consecutive Masters 1000 Victory, Alcaraz Reaches Semifinals

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner has added another impressive win to his record, defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-4 to become the fourth man to achieve 20 consecutive Masters 1000 match victories, joining the likes of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal. Sinner bounced back from a recent setback, where his 37-set winning streak was broken by Tomas Machac in the fourth round, to secure his spot in the semifinals. He is now closer to reclaiming the world No. 1 spot, currently held by Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner expressed his satisfaction with his performance, stating, "I feel like it was a step forward today. It was a very tough match, and I knew I had to improve in certain areas. Although my serve is not yet where I want it to be, I'm very happy with the outcome." He will face Alexander Zverev in the semifinals, who defeated Brazil's Joao Fonseca 7-5, 6-7 (3-7), 6-3. Meanwhile, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz easily defeated Alexander Bublik 6-3, 6-0 to secure his semifinal spot. Alcaraz will play against hometown hero Valentin Vacherot, who saved 13 break points to defeat Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, becoming the first Monegasque player to reach the semifinals at Monte Carlo.
