Hollie Doyle Blog: Wareeth's Derby Ambitions to be Tested

I'm excited to be riding at Newmarket's Craven meeting, particularly on the promising colt Wareeth, who will be competing in the Listed Feilden Stakes. This will be a crucial test for Wareeth, as we'll discover whether he has what it takes to be a potential Derby contender. Wareeth, trained by my boss Archie Watson, will be taking on more experienced horses, including Aidan O'Brien's Isaac Newton, who has already won a maiden and finished fourth in the Group 1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud. Wareeth will be facing a significant step up in class, but he has shown impressive form, winning his novice race at Newcastle by 14 lengths. Although he doesn't currently hold a Derby entry, we're eager to see how he performs in this stakes race. Another horse I'm looking forward to riding is Zoulu Chief in the Weatherbys With Venatour Racing Handicap, who ran a great race for me at Newmarket last autumn. I've also had the opportunity to ride Harlequin Breeze, an outsider in the Group 3 Lanwades Stud Nell Gwyn Stakes, and I believe she's worth her place in the competition. Impossible Mission will need to demonstrate his ability on turf, receiving weight from his rivals in the National Stud Handicap. Meanwhile, Lady Fizz will be gaining valuable experience in the Molson Coors British EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes, taking on fillies from prominent yards. On Thursday, I'll be riding Prince Of India in the Zyn Abernant Stakes, a powerfully built colt who could make a significant impact in stakes sprints this summer. I'm also expecting strong performances from Hawk Mountain in the Group 3 Betway Craven Stakes and Boiling Point in the Group 3 Betway Earl Of Sefton Stakes.
