Garnacho Reflects on Manchester United Departure: 'I Made Some Mistakes'

Alejandro Garnacho has spoken candidly about his departure from Manchester United, acknowledging that he made errors during his final six months at the club. I started to be on the bench, which isn't a bad thing, but in my mind, I felt I had to play every game.' He admitted, 'Maybe it's on me, I started to do some bad things.' Garnacho is now proud to be at Chelsea, competing in the Premier League with a talented team. He holds no grudges against United, the club, or his former teammates, viewing his departure as a natural part of life and football. Amorim understood Garnacho's desire for a change, stating, 'You cannot explain specifically what it is, but I think it's clear that Garnacho wants a different thing with different leadership.' Michael Carrick, currently on track to become the seventh manager, has made a promising start, winning seven of his 10 games since January and lifting United to third in the Premier League. Carrick's 'United DNA' and ability to navigate scrutiny at Old Trafford may prove advantageous in the role. He shared, 'The pressure is something I have lived with for a long time. What's expected here, how to achieve things, the support, and scrutiny become normal after a while.'
