Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his formidable punching power, has inked a multi-fight agreement with Zuffa Boxing. The cruiserweight, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', is the newest addition to the company's impressive stable of fighters, which includes champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton. With 21 professional wins, all but one by knockout, Rozicki has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the cruiserweight division.
His only loss came at the hands of Oscar Rivas in 2021, but he has since gone unbeaten in nine consecutive fights, often competing in front of sold-out crowds in his native Nova Scotia. Rozicki's impressive resume includes a draw against Yamil Alberto Peralta in a WBC interim title bout and a notable victory over Olanrewaju Durodola.
His most recent outing saw him secure a second-round knockout over Gerardo Mellado in March. Rozicki expressed his enthusiasm for joining Zuffa Boxing, stating, 'I'm excited for this new chapter and the opportunity to be part of what Zuffa is building. My team has done an incredible job getting me to this point, and I'm ready to make a statement on this big platform.' The details of Rozicki's Zuffa Boxing debut are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
