Norris Unveils McLaren's Strategy to Reclaim Title

Lando Norris remains optimistic about McLaren's chances of defending their world titles as the F1 season resumes with the Miami Grand Prix, despite the strong starts of Mercedes and Ferrari. Although Norris, the reigning champion, hasn't achieved a podium finish in the first three races, his teammate Oscar Piastri's second-place finish in Japan has boosted the team's morale. With nearly five weeks to refine their cars, Norris believes there's ample opportunity to turn their season around. "We can still have a good season, even if we're not where we want to be right now," Norris stated, emphasizing that the team won't give up on their title ambitions. He trusts the team's ability to learn from past experiences and push hard for the championship. Norris also highlighted the importance of addressing reliability issues and ensuring the team gets enough track time to develop their car and power unit. Teammate Piastri shared Norris's confidence, stating that closing the gap to Mercedes and out-developing the field is within their control. With 19 races remaining, both drivers are eager to see what the team can achieve, starting with the Miami Grand Prix on May 1-3.
