However, Villa took control with goals either side of half-time, capitalizing on poor Bologna defending. Konsa headed home from a corner, and Watkins scored his third goal in five games after a loose ball broke to him. Rowe eventually scored on 90 minutes, but Watkins had the last laugh, sneaking home a corner with the last kick of the game.
