Jango Baie Claims Victory in the Racing Welfare Bowl at Aintree

Jango Baie, the Cheltenham Gold Cup runner-up, achieved a triumphant win at Aintree by taking full advantage of a fall from Impaire Et Passe in the Racing Welfare Bowl. Trained by Nicky Henderson, the seven-year-old was the even-money favourite and managed to end his season on a high note. His jumping was not perfect throughout the three-mile-one-furlong journey, but he produced his best leap of the race two fences from home, securing a 16-length victory over Dan Skelton's Protektorat. Henderson expressed his pride in Jango Baie's performance, stating that the horse is not a rogue like Might Bite, who was also second in the Gold Cup. When asked about potential plans for next season, Henderson mentioned that the King George and the Gold Cup are the two obvious races for Jango Baie, but the same horses will be competing, and they will have to wait and see how it unfolds.
