Rangers Stun Falkirk with Nine-Goal Thriller to Keep Pressure on Hearts

Rangers staged an incredible comeback at Falkirk, remaining firmly in the Scottish Premiership title hunt with five games left to play. Bojan Miovski added a fourth goal, but Falkirk's Calvin Miller narrowed the gap from the penalty spot after James Tavernier fouled Filip Lissah. However, Rangers' title aspirations were underscored as Miovski and Chermiti each scored again, putting the match out of reach. Rangers have reclaimed second place, just a point behind leaders Hearts, with Celtic trailing by two points. Chukwuani's contentious goal just before halftime sparked the remarkable turnaround. The home team seemed to expect a goal kick after Raskin's cross sailed over the goal, but the ball landed on Djeidi Gassama's head, whose header hit the post before Chukwuani converted the rebound. Röhl's introduction of Bojan Miovski for Mikey Moore at the break proved pivotal. Gassama, shifted to the left, won the ball on the edge of the Falkirk box, and his low cross was flicked home by Chermiti. Rangers posed a greater threat and took the lead in the 52nd minute when Raskin received a pass from Aasgaard and scored with his first touch. Chermiti missed another chance before Raskin set up Miovski to score with a cross from the left. Falkirk were given a lifeline in the 70th minute when Miller scored from the spot after Tavernier brought down Lissah. However, Rangers restored their two-goal cushion when Raskin surged forward, and Chermiti netted after Gassama's shot was blocked. Raskin was eventually booked for a clash with Dylan Tait. Miovski sealed the win two minutes from time, converting Oliver Antman's low cross from close range.
