Sutton Rules Out Celtic's Title Hopes, Tips Hearts or Rangers for Victory

According to Chris Sutton, Celtic's chances of winning the title are slim, and the competition is now between Hearts and Rangers. Sutton's former team has a long shot at clinching their 14th league title since 2011, given the intense competition in the Scottish Premiership. With only five games left in the season, the margin for error is nonexistent. Recently, all three teams secured wins, with Hearts maintaining their top spot, one point ahead of Rangers, and Celtic trailing by two points. Despite Celtic's 1-0 win over St Mirren, Sutton doubts their ability to retain the crown. Hearts came from behind to beat Motherwell 3-1, while Rangers staged an incredible comeback to win 6-3 at Falkirk. The ex-Hoops striker believes it's impossible to predict the outcome, but he's convinced it will be either Hearts or Rangers who takes the title. Sutton's comments came after watching Rangers' nine-goal epic at the Falkirk Stadium. He emphasized the importance of focusing on the next game and winning, rather than getting ahead of themselves. Meanwhile, Scott Arfield, who was part of the last Rangers squad to win a top-flight title in 2021, thinks it's too early to rule out any of the contenders. Arfield stressed that every game is crucial, and all teams must find a way to win, as there's no room for error. The title race is expected to go down to the wire, with Rangers, Hearts, and Celtic all vying for the top spot.
