Doku Sounds Warning to Arsenal: 'Title Race is On'

Manchester City's Jeremy Doku has issued a warning to Premier League leaders Arsenal, stating that the title race is now officially underway. Following City's 3-0 victory over Chelsea, Doku expressed his confidence in his team's chances, saying he would be 'crazy' not to believe in their ability to win. With City now six points behind Arsenal and a game in hand, Doku emphasized the importance of their upcoming match against the Gunners. 'If we win, it's a big punch towards them,' he said. 'If we lose, it's in their hands and we have to wait for them to lose. But if we win, it's in our hands and I prefer to have it in my hands.' City manager Pep Guardiola also shared his thoughts, recalling how his team was considered the underdog prior to the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal last month. However, since then, City have gone on to beat Arsenal 2-0, thrash Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup, and close the gap at the top of the Premier League table. Guardiola acknowledged the respect he has for Arsenal, but is optimistic about his team's chances, stating that they are 'growing' and have the advantage of being more 'fresh' after being eliminated from the Champions League.
