The final standings from the Masters tournament, the first major of the year, held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. Rory McIlroy successfully defended his title, becoming the first player to do so since Tiger Woods, after winning last year's playoff against Justin Rose to complete the career Grand Slam.
World number one Scottie Scheffler was the pre-tournament favorite to win for a third time, but McIlroy made history with a one-shot victory. McIlroy's one-under 71 secured the win, finishing ahead of Scheffler, while Tyrrell Hatton, Justin Rose, Cameron Young, and Russell Henley were tied for third. The PGA Tour now heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage, with Justin Thomas returning as defending champion. The next men's major is the PGA Championship, taking place from May 14-17 at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
