Satisfy Your Racing Cravings on Sky Sports This April

Although the Formula 1 season is currently on a break, motorsport enthusiasts can still enjoy a plethora of live racing action on Sky Sports F1 throughout April. Over the next two weekends, our TV and YouTube channels will feature a packed schedule of live track events from various racing categories. This weekend, Max Verstappen will be back at the Nordschleife, competing in the Nurburgring Endurance Series. The four-time world champion, who won the NLS2 race last month but was disqualified due to a tyre infringement, will also participate in the iconic 24 Hours of Nordschleife in May. Additionally, viewers can look forward to the latest round of the IndyCar season, as well as historic racing action from the renowned circuits of Goodwood and Monaco. The 2026 IndyCar Series will continue on Sky Sports F1, with round five taking place at the famous Long Beach street track in California. The event promises to be exciting, with four different polesitters and three different winners in the opening four events. As the Nurburgring prepares for its showpiece 24-hour race in May, an NLS double-header will be streamed on YouTube, featuring Verstappen and Lucas Auer in their Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car. Furthermore, the 83rd Goodwood Members' Meeting will be covered over two days, with 13 races featuring historic machinery from various decades. The event will also include a tribute to James Hunt, 50 years after his 1976 title win, and demonstration laps by Jenson Button in his 2009 title-winning Brawn car. The schedule for the upcoming weekend is as follows: Friday, April 17, 11pm - IndyCar Long Beach Practice One; Saturday, April 18, 9am - Goodwood Members' Meeting Day One, 10:15am - NLS 4, 6:30pm - IndyCar Long Beach Practice Two, 11:30pm - IndyCar Long Beach Qualifying; Sunday, April 19, 9am - Goodwood Members' Meeting Day Two, 10:15am - NLS 5, 6pm - IndyCar Long Beach Warm-up, 10:30pm - IndyCar Long Beach Race. The following week, historic racing from Monaco will be featured, with action from both days of the popular Historique event, showcasing cars from the pre-war Grand Prix era to the mid-1980s. The Monaco Historique event will take place on Saturday, April 25, at 7:10am, and Sunday, April 26, at 6:55am. Formula 1 will return on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, the season's second Sprint weekend, live on Sky Sports F1.
