Stoke City Battles Back to Earn Draw Against Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers moved closer to securing their spot in the Championship with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against 10-man Stoke City. Adam Forshaw, who has scored only three goals in the past decade, gave the visitors the lead in the 21st minute with a beautifully curled shot from 20 yards. However, Stoke City equalized in the 56th minute through Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, who bundled the ball into the net after good work by Million Manhoef. The home team finished the match with a man down after Ash Phillips received his second yellow card. Despite the draw, Blackburn manager Michael O'Neill was pleased with the point, stating that his team can't rely on others to do them favors and must take their form and belief into the remaining four games. Stoke City manager Mark Robins, on the other hand, acknowledged the fans' frustration but emphasized the need to remember where the team is at and the importance of working together to achieve their goals.
