In a social media video, Benn stated, "Garcia, keep my belt warm! I want my belt, and I want it now. Let's fight in September, any day of the week." Garcia, who won the WBC welterweight title in February, has accepted Benn's challenge, saying, "I'm down. Let's do it." Benn's victory over Prograis, which took place at a catchweight 3lb above the welterweight limit, improves his fight record to 25-1.
