Whyte advises Joshua to delay comeback, favors Wilder bout

Dillian Whyte believes Anthony Joshua is rushing back to the ring too quickly and suggests a matchup against Deontay Wilder would be a sensible choice for his next fight. Joshua's last bout was in December, followed by a car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close friends. Wilder has expressed interest in facing Joshua, and Whyte thinks this fight would be a lucrative and exciting matchup. 'If AJ fights Wilder, he will sell and he will knock Wilder out, I think,' Whyte said. However, Whyte also thinks Joshua should take more time to recover and process his recent experiences before returning to the ring. Joshua is expected to face Tyson Fury later this year, but a meeting with Wilder could potentially disrupt those plans. Whyte, who suffered a first-round knockout defeat to Moses Itauma in August, admits he is not considering retirement and is confident in his ability to still compete at the top level.
