Luton Town manager Jack Wilshere has earned his first managerial honor after his team defeated Stockport 3-1 in the Vertu Trophy final. Wilshere, a two-time FA Cup winner as a player, secured the trophy in his debut season as a manager, thanks to goals from Emilia Lawrence and a double from Nahki Wells. Wells added a third goal in the first minute of added time, securing the victory for Luton. An emotional Wilshere expressed his pride in winning the trophy as a manager, stating that it surpasses his experiences as a player.
