Six-Week Suspension Imposed on Sale Hooker Jibulu for Biting Incident

Nathan Jibulu, the Sale Sharks hooker, has been given a six-week suspension after being found guilty of biting Harlequins prop Will Hobson during their Champions Cup match last Saturday. The incident took place in the 69th minute of the game, which Sale won 26-17 at Twickenham Stoop. Although Jibulu could have faced a 12-week ban, his penalty was reduced due to his guilty plea, apology, youth, and clean disciplinary record. Following the incident, Sale released a statement saying, "Nathan has acknowledged his wrongdoing and both he and the club agree that his behavior was unacceptable. We believe our players should always set a good example and such conduct has no place in rugby or society. The club will conduct its own internal investigation and will continue to support Nathan during this challenging time."
