Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a 26-year-old Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of dangerous driving and driving while intoxicated. The allegations stem from an incident on January 4, where Sterling allegedly drove at high speeds through Glasgow City Centre, posing a risk to other road users and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level of 60 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. At his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been adjourned until May 5 for further proceedings.
