Prograis Warns Benn: Gamble Will Ultimately Backfire

Regis Prograis has cautioned that Conor Benn's strategic risk will ultimately prove to be a misstep when the two face off this weekend. Benn is set to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the site of his previous middleweight victories over Chris Eubank Jr, for his third consecutive bout at the football ground. Prograis, a former super-lightweight world champion, is moving up to 150lbs to fight Benn at a catchweight with no rehydration limit. Prograis expressed confidence, stating, 'They've set the terms in his favor, but I'm certain I can emerge victorious. I've spent my entire career fighting at 140lbs, which is a significant jump.' He also revealed that he won't be bound by a rematch clause following his fight with Benn. Prograis believes that Benn is not in his league, saying, 'I don't think he's a great fighter, just average.' Prograis aims to leverage a win over Benn as a stepping stone to another world title opportunity, asserting, 'A victory will open up numerous doors for me, and I'm confident it will lead to something substantial.'
