Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has been taken to court on charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove at high speeds through various roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4. The allegations claim he drove into the path of other vehicles, lost control of his car, and put the lives of other road users at risk. In addition to the charge of reckless driving, Sterling also faces a charge of driving while intoxicated on the same date. The incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. According to reports, Sterling had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the allowed limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. When Sterling appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, he did not enter a plea. The case has been postponed to May 5 by Sheriff Jonathan Guy.
