Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Appears in Court on Charges of Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face allegations of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old is accused of speeding excessively on various roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4. The charges claim that Sterling drove recklessly, putting other road users at risk and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is charged with driving while intoxicated on the same day. It is reported that Sterling had played a match against Celtic the day before, which Rangers won 3-1. According to the allegations, Sterling had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the allowed limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been postponed to a later hearing scheduled for May 5, as ordered by Sheriff Jonathan Guy.
