Enzo Fernandez and his representative have offered an apology to Chelsea for comments made during his time with the Argentine national team. In interviews, Fernandez expressed his enthusiasm for potentially living in Madrid, sparking speculation about a potential move to Real Madrid in the summer. As a consequence of his remarks, Chelsea's head coach, Liam Rosenior, announced that Fernandez would be excluded from the squad for two matches. Real Madrid is expected to sign a midfielder in the summer, with Fernandez being one of their targets, valued at over £100m. However, Chelsea has no intention of selling him. Pastore revealed that contract renewal discussions have stalled, with the terms not being suitable for the player.
