Tottenham's Relegation Fears Intensify

This loss has left Spurs in the relegation zone with six games remaining, two points behind West Ham in 17th place. Despite being one of the Premier League's 'Big Six', their survival in the top-flight is now out of their hands. Carragher stated, 'I can't believe it. Tottenham look like they're going to go down.' He also noted that other relegation-threatened teams have something going for them, which Spurs lack. The team's performance against Sunderland was particularly damning, with Spurs creating just 0.15 worth of Expected Goals in the second half and missing 0.91 worth of xG overall in the first half without scoring. Carragher believes that Spurs have 'no chance' of beating even the Premier League's bottom club away from home. Gary Neville described a potential relegation for Tottenham as a 'monstrous moment' and 'unthinkable', given their recent Champions League finals appearances and Europa League win. Neville said, 'It's as interesting as the title race... The Spurs question - can they go down? Will they go down? Is this the biggest club that's ever gone down in Premier League history?' Former Spurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara ranked Spurs' chances of Premier League survival at just '10 per cent' and believes De Zerbi is not able to work 'miracles'. O'Hara stated, 'They have not won this year... It will be April 18 next weekend and Spurs haven't won in the Premier League.' De Zerbi reacted after the game, saying Spurs have to be stronger as they are in a 'bad moment', but one win would change their season. He told Sky Sports, 'We have to be stronger...
