Fury Challenges Joshua to Ditch Wilder and Commit to Blockbuster Fight

Tyson Fury has called on Anthony Joshua to put a potential fight against Deontay Wilder on the backburner and focus on their highly anticipated showdown. The two former world champions have been engaged in a long-standing rivalry but are yet to face each other in the ring. Fury is insistent that the time for their mega-fight has finally arrived. He stated, 'I don't think AJ should have a tune-up bout. We should make this fight happen as soon as possible, in case something goes wrong in the meantime.' Fury and Joshua have come close to fighting several times over the past decade, only for the bout to be postponed due to various reasons. Fury noted, 'AJ had a warm-up fight in December, and I'm having one now. I've been out of the ring for 16 months, so let's do it and dance.' He also urged Joshua to forget about Wilder, saying, 'The man is a shadow of his former self, it's sad to see. Forget about him and anybody else. Let me get through Saturday night, and we'll make the fight happen this year.' Fury emphasized the unpredictable nature of heavyweight boxing, where anything can go wrong, and a single loss can be disastrous. He expressed his desire to face Joshua next, but first, he needs to overcome Arslanbek Makhmudov on Saturday.
