Tochi Chukwanui's goal before halftime sparked a comeback, and a blistering start to the second half saw Rangers take a 3-2 lead thanks to Youssef Chermiti and Nico Raskin's goals.
Bojan Miovski added a fourth goal for Rangers before Falkirk's Calvin Miller scored from the penalty spot, but Röhl's team demonstrated their title credentials as Miovski and Chermiti each scored again, putting the game out of reach. Rangers have reclaimed second place, trailing leaders Hearts by a single point, with Celtic two points further back. This match marked only the second occasion this season that the top three Premiership teams have all won on the same weekend, a record Rangers were eager to maintain. The turning point came just before halftime when Chukwuani's contentious finish ignited an incredible comeback.
The home team appeared to pause in anticipation of a goal kick after Raskin's cross curled over the goal, but the ball landed on Djeidi Gassama's head, whose header hit the post before Chukwuani converted the rebound. Röhl's decision to introduce Bojan Miovski for Mikey Moore at the break proved pivotal. Gassama was moved to the left and won the ball on the edge of the Falkirk box, with his low cross flicked home by Chermiti.
Rangers posed a greater threat and took the lead in the 52nd minute when Raskin ran around the outside of Aasgaard and hit the Norwegian's pass first time into the far corner. Chermiti missed another chance before Raskin set up Miovski to bundle home with a cross from the left. Falkirk received a lifeline in the 70th minute when Miller netted from the spot after Tavernier brought down Filip Lissah.
However, Raskin was involved again when Rangers restored their two-goal cushion, bursting forward before Chermiti netted after Gassama's shot was blocked. The Belgian midfielder was eventually booked for a clash with Dylan Tait after earlier escaping yellow cards for a clear pull and embracing Rangers fans after his goal. Miovski sealed the victory two minutes from time when he converted Oliver Antman's low cross from close range.
