Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Appears in Court on Drink Driving Charges

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove at high speeds on multiple roads in Glasgow's city center on January 4. The reckless driving charge claims that Sterling put other road users at risk and lost control of his vehicle. On the same date, he is also accused of driving while intoxicated. The day before the incident, Sterling had played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. It is claimed that Sterling had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the allowed limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been adjourned by Sheriff Jonathan Guy until a further hearing on May 5.
