Nicky Richards Looks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive wins, Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to Hexham for the National Hunt action on Monday. Jamesieconn will be competing in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase, seeking a fourth consecutive victory for the in-form Richards team. Having previously shown a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground, Jamesieconn won at Carlisle and has since been raised 5lbs to a mark of 100. Despite the added weight, the horse may still rise to the challenge under Danny McMenamin. Streamsforth Lad, meanwhile, has placed in various races but is yet to secure a win and will be competing off a mark of 97. Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will also be in action, having previously performed well over the course and distance. The Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase will see Young Getaway make his chasing debut, attempting to continue Richards' remarkable winning streak. That One will also be making his debut over fences, and with Jack Power's 5lbs claim, the seven-year-old's mark will be effectively reduced to 105. Other notable horses competing include Heads Or Harps, Choose A Copper, Grant Wood, and Wicket Keeper. The Hexham races promise to be exciting, with several horses looking to build on their previous performances or make a strong debut.
