Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old is accused of speeding excessively through various roads in Glasgow's city center on January 4. According to the charges, Sterling allegedly drove into the path of other vehicles, lost control of his car, and had a blood alcohol level of 60 micrograms per 100 milliliters, exceeding the legal limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. At his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been adjourned until May 5.
