The 35-year-old made over 250 appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal and earned 86 caps for Wales, scoring 21 goals. Following the termination of his contract with UNAM in October, Ramsey took to Instagram to share the news, stating, "This decision has not been easy for me. After careful consideration, I have chosen to retire from football." Ramsey expressed his gratitude to the Welsh national team, his clubs, and his family, highlighting the significant role they played in his career. He also thanked the fans, saying, "To the Red Wall, you have been with me through every moment, and I am honored to have represented you."
